Dr. A is basing this off of his research.Probability can also be expressed in vague terms. For example, someone might say it will probably rain tomorrow. This is subjective, but implies that the speaker believes the probability is greater than 50%.Subjective probabilities have been extensively studied, especially with regards to gambling and securities markets. While this type of probability is important, it is not the subject of this book.There are two standard approaches to conceptually interpreting probabilities. The first is known as the commodious take up (or the recounting frequency approach) and the subjective belief (or bureau approach).
